good grief

heheh

seven days ago, i dyed random strands of hair black.

they’re supposed to be dark blue, but they most certainly are not. it’s cute. it’s fine. i’m glad i didn’t dye my whole head….i really don’t think black would suit me.

i actually started with four strands, and then threw in four more afterwards so i wouldn’t waste as much hair dye.

i even put some dye on my roots—which accomplished nothing. they don’t look any different somehow.

i’m thinking about dying the tips black. i did it to my bangs and two random sections for funsies, and it looks really nice~ it kind of has fox vibes, since my natural brown is a little bit coppery in the light~

i also rewatched the episode of ‘wizards of waverly place’ where alex gets with dean. i loved dean. it lowkey might be my favourite episode.

that’s kind of it though. and i haven’t been doing much since i last posted. like, i genuinely can’t tell you what i’ve been doing because i can’t think of anything. i went grocery shopping the days before that and got double dark chocolate gelato from talenti—which is a new flavor for me—but that’s not very interesting.

a few days later, i finally charged my switch and got back into two of my favourite games: palia and minecraft.

it was actually because youtube recommended the trailer video for palia’s next big update. they’re adding a new map area! and horse–riding! so, i got pretty excited to log in. and then, since i was there, i decided to give minecraft a go.

i don’t usually play it by myself, but i decided to try. i’ve been slowly creating a little town/city the past few days. so far, i have a pond, a library, a flower market, an outdoor restaurant, and a few blocks of little houses. it’s very cute and colourful~ 🩷

the only other thing i’ve done recently was slowly start to learn to salsa. i haven’t started any official lessons or anything. i’m just going to learn it through some videos. i’m trying to work on it very slowly though. i don’t know why, but dancing is one of those things where i always get upset if i’m not good at it right away. but i know that i shouldn’t be.

so, i’m working to set my expectations properly and learn slowly instead of rushing to be a master….maybe i should have learned hula first….

hula is on the list of things i want to learn this year. salsa was a sudden decision after a saw a post of a guy explaining how to bachata in a very simple way.

though, to be clear, i already knew how to bachata. i shared the video to my friend because i don’t want her embarassing me next time my family comes over. and then, naturally, the algorithm gave me more videos from him. and then i saw the first steps to salsa. and i figured i may as well give it a try.

anyway….

until next time,

🩷
